How to use your time to relax

Our predecessor had a dream in which an old man with a white beard appeared to him and taught him how to make it, and Hi Genki was born. He was told that “Ki is coming out of your hands,” and he became a Ki practitioner, and started the Shinkiko retreat seminar, saying, “Everyone can do it, so teach them.” I have never had such a dream.

After our predecessor passed away, I developed various Ki products, improved the performance of Ki relay devices, and expanded the range of models, but I believe this was also an invisible, positive form of Ki support. In my case, I would think, “I wish I could make something like this,” but most of the time, no matter how much I thought about it, nothing would come to mind. I had an idea by chance, and when I tried it, I think I ended up creating something that “might actually work.”

I guess the fact that I can come up with ideas is a sign of positive Ki support. I usually don’t have good ideas when I’m busy. I think it’s mostly when I’m receiving Ki, having a session, or in the bath, and in a relaxed mode.

In fact, there seems to be scientific evidence to support this. According to a study by Raichle et al. at the University of Washington, most of the brain’s energy consumption is already used when it is at rest and not performing any specific tasks. When taking on a new task, the increase in energy consumption is only 5 to 10 percent.

When you are doing something, a lot of blood flows to the necessary parts of the brain in order to concentrate and perform that action efficiently, while it is difficult to get blood to other parts. In other words, when you space out, blood flow does not go to one part of the brain, but flows evenly, which ultimately leads to energy being delivered to parts that have not been used, making it easier to get inspiration.

From the perspective of Ki, as has been theoretically explained, spacing out without the influence of negative Ki may give you a good idea at that time. However, the influence of negative Ki can also make you feel like you don’t want to do anything, or you can’t do anything at all, so you need to be careful about this.

In order to have a good inspiration, it is important to first receive Shinkiko to keep negative energy away and create a relaxed state. By doing so, you will be more likely to receive support from positive energy, making it easier for creative inspiration to come to you.

Even in the midst of your busy daily life, try to consciously take time to daydream, such as daydreaming over a cup of tea, looking up at the sky while hanging out the laundry, or taking a leisurely walk. With the help of the energy of Shinkiko, you will likely gain insights and hints on how to change for the better.
