At every Shinkiko retreat seminar, we do a program called “Fun Cards,” which participants answer the question on a card they draw. We did this at the one-day seminar the other day, and used 14 cards. We turn the cards over with the questions written on them, shuffle them well, and then draw one card at a time, and sometimes strange phenomena occur.
Groups are formed with several people, and over the course of about an hour, participants take turns playing cards twice. Some people draw the same card, and some draw the exact same card they drew the previous time. Although the probability of drawing the same card twice is extremely low at 1 in 196, there have been times when several people in a group have drawn the same card. When you consider these odds, it seems that some invisible force must be at work. I believe this is due to the power of positive energy.
We all have positive energy, or guardian spirits like our ancestors, who want us to be aware of something. When energy from a higher dimension is delivered in a special place like the Shinkiko retreat seminar, light-like energy reaches the negative energy that gets in the way. By being conscious of the questions written on the cards, it becomes easier for the light to reach you.
I also had a strange experience when making the HG White Sheet I mentioned last week. I came up with the idea of laser engraving on white PET resin, created a pattern, and tried several prototypes, but I just couldn’t engrave on a large surface. What’s more, the laser’s irradiation position moved on its own even though I wasn’t touching anything, causing the engraving to be off-center. However, if I pulled myself together and tried again, it worked fine the next time.
When I finally managed to engrave one sheet, I had the center try it out and received feedback that it was “really good,” so I decided to commercialize it, even though I thought it might not be possible. After that, the laser engraving machine continued to experience problems for unknown reasons, but I finally managed to make enough samples for all of our centers.
It seemed like negative energy was getting in the way of making this Ki item, but the positive energy was supporting it even more, so it was still possible to make it even though the engraving machine malfunctioned, which is something that would normally be impossible. If negative energy was interfering with the product out of a sense of crisis, then it must have been a very influential Ki item.
This August marks the Obon festival, and the 80th anniversary of the end of the war. Conflicts continue to occur around the world. Since the dawn of history, energy from the universe has been sent to bring even a little light to the strong negative energy that has drawn humanity into conflict. I hope that each and every one of us will make use of this energy in the places closest to us.
