Profile

1.High Genki Apparatus Reverses Symptoms Which Resist Conventional Treatment

At the 26th Conference of the Japan Society of Pain Clinicians I gave a presentation entitled, “Shinkiko healing for four patients with postherpetic neuralgia,” describing Shinkiko Healing using Healing Music Onki and the High Genki Apparatus for four elderly postherpetic neuralgia patients suffering from problems such as drug-induced allergy, asthma and angina cordis, and who received no benefit from conventional clinical pain treatment. Two patients showed significant improvement, one showed improvement and one showed no improvement. Since Shinkiko Healing is painless and without significant side effects, I believe this treatment is effective for patients who suffer from complications of various diseases. I cannot discount a psychological effect or a placebo effect from this treatment, however, voluntary intention and the efforts of patients who want to recover from illness have recently attracted attention in the area of clinical psychiatry as one aspect of natural healing power and I believe Shinkiko healing will play an important role in clinical pain treatment in the future.

2.Shinkiko Healing and Favorable Reactions

At the 86th Kumamoto Conference of Anesthesiology, I gave a presentation about the results of treatment of a 72-year-old female patient with rheumatoid arthritis using the High Genki Apparatus and Healing Music Onki. She had seen an orthopaedist for many years, but did not see much improvement and wanted to stop taking medicines as they upset her stomach. After she started Shinkiko treatment, her pain was reduced. Approximately two months later, her rheumatoid factor increased three fold from what it had been when she started Shinkiko treatment. However, as she continued Shinkiko treatment, the rheumatoid factor suddenly started dropping, and after approximately one year had nearly disappeared. Swelling of her knee joints also disappeared. In Oriental medicine, temporary symptom exacerbation is considered a “favorable reaction.” This patient’s case attracted attention as a rare case in which the treatment result was recorded by a specialist in Western medicine.

3.Healing Music Onki and Autonomic Nerve System Balance

At the International Society of Life Information Science, I gave a presentation entitled, “Report on Changes in the Autonomic Nerve System and Pain Relief Due to Shinkiko Healing Using 1/f Alpha Wave Fluctuation Music.” I conducted Shinkiko Healing using “Healing Music Onki” for a total of 486 subjects and studied their reactions. A total of 1643 questionnaires were answered by these subjects. Over 90% said that they were relaxed. From answers to questions, “Did your body become warm or hot?,” “Did you notice any physiological reaction in your body?,” and “Did your body move?,” I observed that there was a clear difference between cases in which Healing Music Onki was used and cases in which commercially available healing music (1/f alpha wave fluctuation music) was used. I also investigated pain and heart rate in the subjects, and collected data showing that 73% said that their pain was changed by Healing Music Onki. Regarding heart rate, there was a tendency for it to increase in subjects with low rates and to decrease in those with high rates. From this result, it appears that Healing Music Onki has the effect of balancing the autonomic nerve system.
